Youth Work Ireland is a national charity dedicated to promoting equality, access, and meaningful participation for all young people. They support a network of local services, providing vital resources and advocacy for youth aged 10–25 across the country.


I was brought on to design a new Strategic Statement that would visually and thematically reflect the priorities and concerns of young people across Ireland. The content was informed by a comprehensive country-wide survey of over 170 participants aged 16–24, focusing on issues such as mental health, education, identity, and civic engagement.

If focused on the following topics:

  • Data Visualisation: Translated key survey findings into engaging and accessible graphics to ensure young voices were front and centre.

  • Youth-Focused Design: Developed a bold, inclusive visual style that resonated with the target age group while aligning with Youth Work Ireland’s brand.

  • Collaborative Process: Worked closely with the internal team to balance clarity, impact, and authenticity in the final statement.


The final Strategic Statement was well-received by stakeholders and used as a core advocacy tool to guide Youth Work Ireland’s mission and programs. It was also distributed across their national network, ensuring that young people’s perspectives were actively shaping future policy and action.
